OVW TV #919: "Jon Uncaged"

This is the OVW Report for Wednesday, March 29, 2017. This episode can be seen on WBNA-21 in the Louisville area on Saturday at 11AM and 10PM, and online on Monday at www.ovwrestling.com/tv. In this episode, Rocco Bellagio in the main event, David Lee Lorenze III is still auditioning for a production assistant, Robbie Walker hosts another edition of Brush Hour, plus more!

Without further ado:

Here we go...

Pre-Show Dark Matches:

Apollo defeats Dustin JacksonApollo picks up the win following a full nelson slam.

Ca$h Flo (w/Josh Ashcraft) defeats Adam Slade. Ca$h lights up Slade's chest with several nasty chops. He puts him away for the 3 after a big kick to the face.

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on WBNA ion-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 11AM and 10PM (check local listings) and on OVW's official website Mondays at www.ovwrestling.com/tv.

Ron Hed & Gilbert Corsey are on commentary, and KC is the ring announcer.

"The Man of Tomorrow" Daniel Eads defeats Nick BerryEads stays in control for most of this match-up and puts Berry away after a super superman punch off the top rope.

Rocco Bellagio comes out and says he told everyone that last week was the last time we'd ever see Big Jon on TV. He admits he got Big Jon arrested and locked up. He says Jon won't be able to pick his poison, and he won't be at SNS either. Rocco will pick his own poison. He will find the biggest and baddest guy in the back and steal the show like he always does. He hopes Jon has closed circuit TV in jail.

"The Bad Boys Club""Bad Boy" Shane Andrews & "The Double R Superstar" Randy Royal (w/"Bad Girl" Jessie Belle) defeat Big Zo & David Lee Lorenze III. The BBC take it to David, so he tags Zo in and tells him to do his job. Zo takes Royal down with a big slam and goes up for the Zo bomb, but David tags himself back in and says this is his scene. Zo hits him into Royal, who delivers the Samoan drop. Shane follows it with the frog splash for the 3.
After the match, David is upset and gets in Zo's face. Zo kicks him and goes for a power bomb, but Ca$h Flo runs out with Josh Ashcraft. Ca$h hits Zo from behind, then hits the spinning faceplant. Josh grabs a mic and tells Zo if he wants it, he's got it. It will be Zo vs. Flo this Saturday at the Special.
Ca$h & Josh leave the ring, and David grabs the mic. He says this is the perfect ending, and "pins" Zo and announces himself the winner.

Dapper Dan is interviewed at ringside by Gilbert Corsey. Dan says he is done dealing with "Little Joey" and is looking forward to his upcoming match at the Rusty Bucket in Charlestown, where he will face Big Jon in a kendo stick match. He says he will take Big Jon's throne and break Jon's ribs and his spirit.
LJ comes out and wants one more chance. He was real close to finally beating Dan last week. Dan says it took him how many times to get that close, he's not in his league. LJ throws a punch and they start to brawl at ringside. Dan slams LJ on the side of the apron and gets in the ring.
He handcuffs LJ to the ropes and blasts him repeatedly across the back with "Mandy" the kendo stick. Dan leaves, but LJ gets back up and asks for a mic. He says he wants one last chance to prove he can beat Dan. Dan comes back through the curtain and gets in the ring. LJ says if he doesn't win, he will never wrestle again. Dan clotheslines him and hits the Death Valley Driver. He says LJ must have a death wish, and he must be a genie. He is granting it. He will not beat LJ, he will kill him, and end his career.

Tony Gunn comes to the ring and says he doesn't like who he has become over the last several months. He didn't realize it until last Saturday at St. Gabriel when the families, fans, and his kids were all rooting for him. He says this is no time for apologies, but wants to thank all those who have supported him and OVW. This brings out Adam Revolver.
Revolver says this is old news and no one cares. What he cares about is breaking Tyler Matrix this Saturday, as well as his fans, and if he has to, he will break Gunn as well. Gunn says Revolver has never been a part of the Gunn Show, but will send him crying home to mama...
"Shotgun" Tony Gunn defeats Adam Revolver. Revolver attacks Gunn from behind, but Gunn starts firing back and tries to lock in the YTO. Revolver gets to the ropes and rolls out of the ring. He goes through the curtain and comes back out with a steel chair. He goes to hit Gunn, but Gunn drops him and gets the YTO locked in for the tap out victory.
After the match, Revolver attacks Gunn with the chair. Tyler Matrix runs out for the save and takes Revolver down. He grabs the chair and corners Revolver, when Shannon the Dude emerges and jumps on Tyler's back. Tyler flips him off his back and goes after him. This allows Revolver to get the chair and crack Tyler in the back from behind.
Adam "pins" him with Shannon counting the 3.

BRUSH HOUR: Robbie Walker comes out and welcomes us to another edition of Brush Hour. He says he made Rev. Stuart Miles repent last week after attacking him with a ladder. He says this Saturday his marvelous mane will ascend to the heavens and he will reclaim the OVW Television Title!
Rev. Stu comes to the ring and interrupts Brush Hour. He says he has a good word and it's forgiveness. He forgives Robbie for last week. Robbie cuts him off and says no, he can't interrupt his show. Rev. Stu says the fans would rather watch "The Good Word with Rev. Stu" than Brush Hour, can he get an amen? Robbie invites him down to his set, and says he is going to start something new on his show, he is going to forgive his guests for this...and he throws a punch at Stu. They brawl at ringside, and Robbie gets the upperhand. He pulls Stu's shirt over his head and rolls him in the ring. He grabs a ladder and blasts Stu in the gut with it.
He sets the ladder up over Stu's prone body and climbs to the top and poses with the TV Title.

Rocco Bellagio comes out and says he has picked his poison. He found someone who is 6'6", 320 pounds, and here he is...Houdini!
"The Show Stealer" Rocco Bellagio defeats Houdini. Rocco toys with Houdini early, but Houdini actually gets a little steam, hitting Rocco with 2 stunners and a spear. He goes for the pin, but Rocco sits up with Houdini, and stands to his feet holding him. He puts him down with the Plunge for the 3.
After the match, Rocco hits Houdini with a second Plunge, then throws him to the outside.
He clears off the announce desk and goes for a third Plunge, when Big Jon shows up and attacks Rocco from behind. Jon gets in the ring with a mic and as Rocco shakes the cobwebs, he asks how Jon got out. Jon says he got out thanks to this...he points to the curtain as Dean Hill walks out. Jon says he knows Rocco is low, but that was real low to set him up and get him arrested and thrown in jail. He says he was basically in a cage though and he got to thinking about how he will have Rocco as his cellmate this Saturday. He will inflict pain on Rocco, that Rocco has never felt before in his life!

This ended the TV taping.

Post-Show Dark Matches:

Colton Cage defeats "Dancing" Deonta Davis. A back and forth match, that sees Deonta catch Colton in a small package, only for Colton to roll it over and get the 3. They shake hands after the match.

OVW Women's Champion Madi Maxx, Little Damion, & Lukas Gibson Jacobs defeat Callie & OVW Southern Tag Team Champions Billy O & Kevin Giza after Madi rolls Callie up from behind for the 3 while the men fought on the outside.
