-Team Diamond vs. Team War Machine in a War Games match
-Rob Conway & Danny Davis vs. the Outcasts
-Jade Dawson vs. Reverend Stuart Miles in a NO DQ Street Fight
-Plus more!

Your announcers for tonight are Gilbert Corsey & "Package" Chris Sharpe.

WAR GAMES: Team Diamond vs. Team War Machine.
Josh Ashcraft leads out Eric Locker, and his first opponent is "The Chosen One" Mitch Huff.
They fight for 5 minutes until the OVW Heavyweight Champion Eddie Diamond enters. EFD & Huff are able to double team Locker until Adam Revolver comes out.
Locker is down, and Revolver doesn't want to enter. EFD exits the cage and chases Revolver around the cage and gets him in.
"The Standout" Adam Wylde is next, and he is followed by Trevor Steele. Steele shoves Wylde out of the cage as Team Diamond's 4th man is set to enter, but no one comes out. Wylde finally climbs the cage to the very top.
Revolver tries to meet him up top, but Wylde hits him down and Revolver falls down straddling the top rope. Wylde then dives on all 5 other men.
Big Jon comes out for Team War Machine, and quickly makes his presence felt. He immediately hits Wylde with a jackhammer for the 3, and then Huff suffers the same fate. It's now a 4-on-1 assault on EFD until Gilbert Corsey announces that Team Diamond's 4th man has arrived...and out comes Marcus Anthony! Marcus eliminates Steele with a powerbomb. Jon hits another jackhammer on EFD, and now it's 3-on-1. Marcus powers through all 3 and eliminates Revolver with a powerbomb. Locker & Jon double team Marcus and Locker hits a t-bone suplex. Locker goes for the pin, but Jon pulls him off. They argue over who should pin him, and as Jon talks to Josh on the outside, Marcus rolls Locker up in a small package for the 3. Locker doesn't leave right away and holds Marcus for Jon, but Marcus breaks loose, and Jon hits a big boot to Locker. Jon sets Marcus up, but Marcus reverses and hits a powerbomb for the 3!
WINNER: MARCUS (for TEAM DIAMOND) by pinfall.
After the match, Gilbert Corsey enters the ring and welcomes Marcus back. He then asks what match he wants for later tonight. Marcus says he could go for the Heavyweight Title, the Television Title, the Tag Titles...but he wants revenge, he wants a No Holds Barred match against Josh Ashcraft!

Jay Bradley vs. "Ladies' Man" Leon Shelly.
Leon uses his speed to try and avoid Jay's power and the Boomstick, but Jay catches him, slings him across the ring, and connects with the Boomstick for the 3.
WINNER: JAY by pinfall.
After the match, Jay grabs a mic. He says he knows he can be a real jerk, but he has something to say. He's trying to be a nice guy for once. He tells Leon to listen, and tells him that he doesn't know what it is, but Leon definitely has something. He tells Leon to stay in OVW and keep busting his butt.

We see a video from earlier today of Adam Wylde wishing Danny Davis good luck.

Shane Andrews, Elvis Pridemoore, & The Ringmaster (w/Dapper Dan Van Zandt) vs. The Assassin, SK Eveslage, & Rook.
A fairly quick match that got everyone a chance to be in the ring. All 6 men end up fighting, and Assassin catches Elvis with a powerslam for the 3.
WINNERS: ASSASSIN, ROOK, & SK by pinfall.
After the match, Elvis throws another temper tantrum, pulling on the ring apron, and throwing stuff around from under the ring.

We see a video from Jessie Belle who says she doesn't care about what happened to Ryan Howe. She says Howe didn't need or want her, and casted her out. Therefore, she might as well be an "Outcast".

NO DQ STREET FIGHT: "Pastor of Disaster" Rev. Stuart Miles vs. Jade Dawson.
Stu hides beside Jade's entrance curtain with a steel chair, but Jade comes in through the side door and attacks Stu from behind. Jade throws Stu into the barricade. He tries to do it again, but Stu reverses and throws Jade into the barricade. Stu hits him with his belt and hangs him with it over the top rope. Jade comes back with a shot to the head with a steel tray. He grabs a ladder and sets it up in the corner. He throws Stu into it, but charges, and runs into it as Stu moves. Stu hits him in the head with it on the outside. Stu lifts Jade up on his shoulders, but Jade slides off and rams Stu into the ringpost. Jade sets up the ladder and jumps off of it, but Stu spits something into Jade's eyes. Stu hits Jade with a tray, chokes him with the belt, and hits him with another tray. He kicks a chair into Jade's face, but can't put him away. Jade ducks a chair shot and hits the fameasser on the chair. He whips Stu with the belt several times, and then puts the chair in front of Stu in the corner and dropkicks it into Stu's face for the 3.
WINNER: JADE by pinfall.

Backstage, Jay Bradley walks into Danny Davis' office and says if this is really is the last show for OVW...thank you. He shakes hands with Danny.

Gilbert Corsey is in the ring and brings out Eddie Diamond. They discuss the War Games match, and Eddie says that while him & Marcus Anthony have a past, he knew Marcus hated Josh Ashcraft more than him & Marcus hated each other. Gilbert then says that if OVW is still here, Eddie will be defending his belt at Friday Night Fights on the 24th. Eddie talks about not knowing who he will face, but is distracted by a gorilla at ringside. The gorilla gets in the ring and hands Eddie a packet. Eddie looks it over and it mentions a tye-dye opponent. Eddie turns into a rocket punch from the gorilla, who turns out to be Chris Silvio.
Silvio says they've battled before, but this time he's walking away with the OVW Heavyweight Title.

NO HOLDS BARRED: Marcus Anthony vs. Josh Ashcraft (w/Trevor Steele).
Josh comes out in a sling and says he hurt his shoulder. He had a note faxed from Dr. Asa saying he wasn't cleared to compete, and that Trevor Steele would take his place. He argued with Gilbert at ringside as Marcus got out and hit Trevor, then threw Josh in the ring. As Marcus tried to get back in, Trevor held his foot. Marcus kicked him away, but Josh was waiting with a handful of powder that he threw into Marcus' eyes.
Josh tried to take Marcus down with brass knucks and interference from Trevor, but Marcus kept fighting back. Marcus hits Josh with a huge clothesline and atomic drop. Josh offers his hand, but Marcus squeezes it hard and has Josh on his knees. Eric Locker & Big Jon run out, but Marcus fights them off and sends them both outside. Mitch Huff, Adam Wylde, & Eddie Diamond all come out and brawl with the War Machine on the outside. Back inside, Marcus hits the Gamma Punch on Josh for the 3. Marcus celebrates with Huff, Diamond, & Wylde as the War Machine carry Josh off.
WINNER: MARCUS by pinfall.

"The Outcasts": Vic the Bruiser & Jason "the Man" Lee (w/Jessie Belle) vs. "Ironman" Rob Conway & "Nightmare" Danny Davis.
Conway & Danny come out of the gate firing away, but cheap tactics from Vic & Jason allow them to take the advantage and work over Danny. They hit him with a baton, and later on, spray something in his eyes. Conway tries to help, but Danny delivers a neckbreaker to him as he couldn't see. Jason Lee hits a DDT, but referee AJ had gotten squashed in the corner accidentally by Vic. Vic goes to the back and grabs a cinderblock and sledgehammer and lays the block on Danny's chest/stomach. It looks like Danny is about to suffer the same fate as Trailer Park Trash. Gilbert Corsey yells from the announce table to stop it, and tells the Outcasts not to dare do it. This gives Conway just enough time to recover and low blow Vic. He drops the sledgehammer and goes down. Danny gets back to his feet and is able to hit a neckbreaker drop on Jason and get the 3.
WINNERS: CONWAY & DAVIS by pinfall.
After the match, Gilbert Corsey enters the ring and asks Danny what his decision will be. Danny thanks everyone for coming out and still acts as if he is still gonna shut down. Conway grabs the mic and tells him not to do it, to keep it going. Danny still looks very unsure as Conway pleads with him to keep the doors open, and the fans chant "OVW". Danny says he will do this...emotions are high right now, but he will have a TV taping on Wednesday and decide from there.

If you have never been to a Saturday Night Special and/or are not able to, make sure you pick up a copy Wednesday nights at the Davis Arena during the TV tapings, or order them online at the shop on ovwrestling.com!

As always, thanks for reading!

  1. Too bad Leon "The Ladies Man" Shelley wasn't around when Eddie Diamond was trying to woo Epiphany. Maybe he could have given him some advice.

  2. WTF was Adam Wylde thinking, jumping off the top of the cage like that! Haven't we lost enough wrestlers this year? Didn't Owen Hart teach us anything?
