OVW TV #792: "Clocked by Cliff"

This is the OVW Report for Wednesday, October 22, 2014. This episode can be seen online starting tomorrow at www.ovwrestling.com/tv. In this episode, Melvin Maximus faces Shiloh Jonze in the main event, Rev. Stuart Miles offers to trade the guitar back to Ryan Howe for his good book, Trailer Park Trash talks about some recent personal matters with the fans, plus more!

Without further ado:

Here we go...

Pre-Show Dark Matches:

"Rudo" Raul LaMotta vs. Elvis Pridemoore.
Raul works over Elvis, but Elvis charges back. Elvis runs off the ropes and gets caught in a double underhook DDT for the 3 .
WINNER: RAUL by pinfall.

Rebel vs. Mary Elizabeth Monroe.
A really good back and forth match, but after missing the split-legged legdrop, Mary Elizabeth rolls Rebel up in the Rainbow Cross for the tapout.
WINNER: MEM by submission.

"No Class Connection": Leon Shelly & Deonta Davis vs. "The Wild Boyz": Eddie F. Diamond & "The Party Starter" Bud Dwight.
The Wild Boyz make quick tags and work over Deonta. Deonta tags Leon, and Leon runs in and gets dropped with a drop toehold from EFD. EFD goes off the ropes and is hit by Deonta while Leon distracts the ref. They try to double team him, but EFD moves from being hit in the corner by Leon, flips over Deonta, and tags Dwight. Dwight comes in firing away and hits a big dropkick. Deonta is tossed from the ring, and the Wild Boyz hit a flying forearm from EFD off Dwight's back into Leon, and finish it up with their side slam/reverse DDT finisher for the 3.
WINNERS: WILD BOYZ by pinfall.

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on OVW's official website late Thursday afternoon/evening at www.ovwrestling.com/tv and on WBNA ion-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 9AM and 10PM (check local listings).

Terry Boddie & Gilbert Corsey are on commentary, and Shannon the Dude is the ring announcer.

Gilbert Corsey brings out Trailer Park Trash. He says TPT has been gone for a while, and he wants to talk to just Frank Miller. He wants Frank to let the fans know what has been going on. Frank says that he lost his father on July 28, and it's been very tough. They talked every day, and it's not the same now. He contemplated quitting the wrestling business altogether, but decided he needed to get back to work. He thanks the fans for their support on social media as Michael Titus makes his way out.
Titus says that no one cares about him airing his dirty laundry, and then says that it's Trash's own fault for always being at OVW and not being there to support his father.
He goes on blaming Trash until Danny Davis and a group of superstars including Ryan Howe, the Wild Boyz, Elvis Pridemoore, Michael Hayes, and Rump Thump run out and run Titus off and then console Trash in the corner.

Dapper Dan vs. "Primetime" Robbie Walker.
Robbie goes after Dan for the German suplex he received following their match last week. Dan gets in the ropes, but then tries to hit Robbie from behind. Robbie gets clubbed and Dan hits a big backbreaker. Robbie comes back and goes for the Cosmic Kick, but Dan ducks and goes for the German. Robbie reverses the German attempt into a rollup for 2. Dan ducks another Cosmic Kick attempt and rolls Robbie up with a handful of tights for the 3.
WINNER: DAN by pinfall.
After the match, Robbie connects with a Cosmic Kick in a bit of revenge and leaves Dan laying.

The No Class Connection comes to the ring and raps, but Michael Hayes comes out. He tells them he understands being the new guy and wanting to make a name, but rapping isn't going to help, it's about hard work. Deonta doesn't take kindly to Hayes' interruption and shoves him. Hayes shoves back, and then hits both Deonta & Leon with facebusters off the knee. He then says he wants something back. He's talking about the OVW Television Title and says he's man enough to admit he slipped and Chris Silvio took advantage and beat him 1-2-3. Silvio appears backstage and says that he normally has to defend every week on TV, but will be defending the title this weekend in E-Town and the only way Michael Hayes or the fans can see it is by paying their hard earned money.

Rev. Stuart Miles comes out with Ryan Howe's guitar and asks Howe to come out, saying he told his Apostle, Jake Glasure, and Jade Dawson to stay in the back. He offers a trade with Howe, Howe's guitar for his good book.
Howe says he will only give it back if Miles puts the guitar in the guitar case and locks it up. Miles does and Howe returns the book.
Before Howe can exit the ring, Glasure & Dawson run out and attack Howe and take out Howe's knee from behind.
The Wild Boyz run out to even the odds and the Congregation gets away with Howe's guitar again, though the good book is left in the ring with Howe.

The Bodyguy (w/Big Jon) vs. Rump Thump.
A quick back and forth match that sees Bodyguy get caught with the Rump Thump for the 3.
WINNER: THUMP by pinfall.
After the match, Big Jon attacks Rump from behind and hits Rump's bad knee off the canvas.

Dave-Lo & "Rudo" Raul LaMotta vs. "TerreMex": Randy Terrez & the Mexicutioner.
TerreMex beat up on Dave-Lo. Raul smacks Dave-Lo across the back and tags himself in after pulling Terrez down by his hair. Raul slaps Dave-Lo hard in the chest and gives him the opportunity to pin, but Terrez kicks out at 2. TerreMex ends up hitting La Chancla on Dave-Lo for the 3 after Dave-Lo looked to tag Raul and Raul had left the ring apron.
WINNERS: TERREMEX by pinfall.

Shiloh Jonze vs. "Mister Marvelous" Melvin Maximus.
Cliff Compton comes out on commentary. Shiloh can't overcome Melvin's strength. He keeps jumping on Melvin's back for a sleeper hold, but Melvin rams him off. He charges Shiloh and SHiloh moves, and Melvin flies out of the ring. Shiloh goes out and attacks him and then grabs Cliff's title off the announce desk. Cliff gets up and calls Shiloh a moron and they fight over the title. Cliff ends up getting it and goes to hit Shiloh, but accidentally clocks Melvin and shrugs.
WINNER: MELVIN by DQ.

This ended the TV taping.

Post-Show Dark Matches:

"Apostle" Jake Glasure (w/"Altar Boy" Jade Dawson & "The Pastor of Disaster" Rev. Stuart Miles) vs. Michael Hayes.
The Congregation tries to interfere, but Hayes is able to pull through and take Glasure down with the facebuster for the 3.
WINNER: HAYES by pinfall.

This episode of OVW TV will be up online tomorrow. As always, thanks for reading!

  1. I bet Michael Titus is real proud of himself tonight. I mean, that was low, even for him. Just remember Michael, Karma is a b***h.

    2. why that is true "mark king" i will never agree with bringing it into story lines same as when there kids are used in story lines unless they are already wrestlers i know michael wouldent ever actually say those things meaning them its his job as a heel manager to draw as much heat as possible and by your reaction he does his job well anonymus

  2. I was really moved to tears over TPT speaking about his late father; I know what it's like to lose a beloved; but I find it very healing to talk about grief; that being said, what Titus did is very uncalled for; it was very mean and cruel-hearted of Titus to say those horrible things and I hope that Mr. Davis fires Titus!
