OVW TV #743: "Marauder vs. Marauder"

This is the OVW Report for Wednesday, November 13, 2013. This episode can be seen online starting tomorrow at www.ovwrestling.com/tv. In this episode, Jamin Olivencia is after Timmy Danger & Johnny Spade, Lei'D Tapa defends the Women's Title against Taeler Hendrix, it's Marauder vs. Marauder as Shiloh Jonze defends the TV Title against Joe Coleman, plus more!

Without further ado:

Here we go...

Pre-Show Dark Matches:

Leon Shelly vs. Eddie F. Diamond (w/Bobbi Bardot).
EFD takes Leon down numerous times and shakes hands. Finally, Leon gets frustrated and smacks EFD in the face. EFD hits him with the "E-F-D" forearm in the corner, the Soulja Boy Shuffle, and then makes him tap to the Cripwalk Crossface for the victory.
WINNER: EFD by submission.

"The Mexicutioner" Robo De Luna vs. Flash Flanagan (w/Shiloh Jonze, Raul LaMotta, Nick Dumeyer, Clint Poe, & Joe Coleman).
Robo has the early advantage until the Marauders interfere. Flash takes over and lays in some vicious chops to Robo's chest. Robo fights back and sets up for the spear, but Raul distracts the ref, and Flash nails the charging Robo with the kendo stick for the 3.
WINNER: FLASH by pinfall.

Evan Markopoulos & Dylan Bostic vs. "Double Platinum" Ryan Howe & Rockstar Spud.
Spud & Howe make quick tags in and out working over the arm of Dylan. Dylan & Evan take control and work over Spud. Spud makes the hot tag to Howe, who takes Evan & Dylan down. Howe ducks a clothesline from Dylan, who accidentally connects with Evan. Howe rolls Dylan up for the 3.
WINNERS: PLATINUM by pinfall.

That concludes tonight's pre-show dark matches. I always recommend watching the episode first on TV or online before reading the rest of the report. Again, you can check it out on OVW's official website late Thursday afternoon/evening at www.ovwrestling.com/tv and on WBNA ion-21 in the Louisville area Saturdays at 9AM with replays Wednesdays at 9PM after WWE Main Event.

Jamin Olivencia enters the building and is looking for Johnny Spade & Timmy Danger.

Timmy Danger rolls out and talks about his man, John Spade, defeating Jamin Olivencia again. Spade says that he is #1 contender now that he has "surprise, surprise" beaten Jamin Olivencia again. He said he is 3-0 in big title matches and had to beat him again to get a title shot. Danger then goes on blabbing about Jamin and mentions Jamin's daughter, calling her a "stupid little girl".
Jamin comes out to the ring and pushes Danger over in his wheelchair. Then he goes at it with Spade. They are pulled apart by officials, but break loose and go back after each other.
This happens 3 or 4 times, and Jamin says later tonight footage will be shown from last week's match to prove that Spade is a cheater and Danger is a liar.

Backstage, Shiloh Jonze is with the Marauders and talks about their plan. Joe Coleman walks in and asks what's going on. Shiloh says they were talking about having a good clean fight tonight. Joe says he better go get ready.

OVW WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP: "The Boston Strong Bombshell" Taeler Hendrix vs. "The Queen of Rings" Lei'D Tapa (c).
A very good match. Taeler started off by grabbing Tapa's cape, throwing it over Tapa's head, and jumping on her back. Tapa flings her down. Tapa chokes her and slings her across the ring a few times. She charges after Taeler, but Taeler pulls down the top rope. Tapa lands on the apron and Taeler dropkicks her off into the announce table. Tapa tries to get back in, but Taeler kicks her off. Tapa tries to get in again, and again Taeler tries to hit her, but Tapa moves, and Taeler gets caught across the middle rope. Tapa pulls her out and they fight on the outside. Tapa goes to hit Taeler, but Taeler moves, and Tapa's hand connects with the ringpost. Taeler bites Tapa's hand and hits it off the apron. Tapa comes back, chopping Taeler in the chest. Tapa catches her with the Tongan Death Grip and goes for her TKO finisher, but Taeler rakes her eyes. Taeler keeps moving around the ring as Tapa swings wildly. Taeler yells at Tapa who blindly charges at her voice. Taeler moves and Tapa smashes referee Chris Sharpe in the corner. Taeler goes to the outside and takes away the chair from ring announcer Shannon the Dude. She hits Tapa across the back and goes for the pin, but Tapa flings her off at 2. Taeler goes to hit Tapa with the chair again, but Tapa hits a big boot to the chair into Taeler's face and gets the 3.
WINNER: TAPA by pinfall.
After the match, the Bodyguy's music hits and he comes to the ring with 4M. He tells the officials who are helping Taeler from the ring "to get that washed up broad out of the ring". He says that this is a man's sport and only men belong in this ring. Jessie Belle & Lovely Lylah come out and Jessie Belle says if it looks like a pig and smells like a pig, than it's probably a pig. Lylah says Bodyguy called her fat, but she wants to "throw her weight around" next week. Next week, it's Jessie Belle & Lylah vs. the Bodyguy.

Backstage, the Mobile Homers are taking bets again on matches. Michael Hayes & Mohamad Ali Vaez walk up. Hayes says their team would probably be more successful if they worried about it as much as they are with taking bets. A bet is then made for a match next week between the Mobile Homers and Vaez & Hayes.

Jamin Olivencia is back again and calls out Johnny Spade & Timmy Danger. He shows the video of their match from last week, but the footage has been messed with, and doesn't show Danger jumping up from his wheelchair and grabbing Jamin's foot. Jamin goes after Danger, but is caught with a superkick from Spade.

OVW TELEVISION TITLE: "Thunderlats" Joe Coleman vs. Shiloh Jonze (c).
The other Marauders all came out first and stood around ringside. Joe was in control and dominating the match until Shiloh decided to take a shortcut and nail Joe in the head with the kendo stick for the DQ.
WINNER: COLEMAN by DQ, but SHILOH remains TV champion.
After the match, Shiloh summoned the other Marauders to attack Joe. He handed each of them the kendo stick and they all laid a shot in to Joe.
He handed it lastly to Flash who hadn't done anything up this point. Flash looked at the stick, looked at Shiloh, looked around, and then threw the kendo stick down on the mat and walked off, which angered Shiloh.

This ended the TV taping.

Post-Show Dark Matches:

Jessie Belle vs. Lovely Lylah.
A good back and forth match, but in the end, Lylah caught Jessie Belle with a rollup and a bridge for the 3 and the victory.
WINNER: LYLAH by pinfall.

"Strongest Gamer Alive" Marcus Anthony vs. Jamin Olivencia.
Marcus controls early, using his power to keep Jamin down. Jamin fights back, hits the jumping clothesline, kamikaze splash in the corner, and high knee to the face of Marcus. Marcus throws him off as he tries for the Standing O, clubs him, and goes for the Gamma Punch. Jamin slides out and connects with the Standing O for the 3.
WINNER: JAMIN by pinfall.

This episode of OVW TV will be up online tomorrow. As always, thanks for reading!
