OVWmania Presents: OVW Top 20 (Ed. 33)

This is the newly designed OVW Top 20 for the week of January 1-7, 2013 exclusively on OVWmania. Some readers didn't like or were confused by the design of having singles, tag teams, and the ladies all bunched together, so this edition will feature the Top 10 Singles + Top 5 Tag Teams + Top 5 Femme Fatales = OVW Top 20! Each section will consist of the Champion followed by the top contenders.

TOP 10 SINGLES

ROB TERRY

OVW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION 

#1) CRIMSON

LAST WEEK: The Coalition didn't fare well as a whole, but Crimson will undoubtedly be looking for another shot at the OVW Heavyweight Title.

#2) CLIFF COMPTON

OVW TELEVISION CHAMPION

LAST WEEK: Cliff had a great week after winning a brutal ladder match and successfully claiming the OVW Television Title for himself.

#3) JAMES "MOOSE" THOMAS

LAST WEEK: Moose got some revenge on the Coalition after a win at SNS in which he won by delivering a Moose Kick to Jason Wayne.

#4) "SMOOTH" JOHNNY SPADE

LAST WEEK: Spade's trust issues were set aside as he teamed with Moose, Silvio, & the Mascara Mafia to successfully defeat the Coalition at SNS.

#5) FLASH FLANAGAN

LAST WEEK: Flash did what he had to do to earn a spot back on the OVW roster. Thanks to an assist from Josette Bynum and a well-placed table, he did just that at SNS against Trailer Park Trash.

#6) JASON WAYNE

LAST WEEK: The "He-Man of Homeland Security" had a breach in his plans when he got Moose Kicked and then kissed by Paredyse to add insult to injury.

#7) "THE KING OF PINK" DYLAN FREAK'N BOSTIC

LAST WEEK: Defeated Ryan Howe at the Saturday Night Special as he works his way back up the ranks.

#8) JAMIN OLIVENCIA

LAST WEEK: Jamin fought hard, but after a low blow from Cliff Compton, lost the ladder match and OVW Television Title at SNS.

#9) TONY GUNN

LAST WEEK: Not only did Tony Gunn help train and coach Randy Royal for his return match, but he also won a battle royal at SNS earning himself a TV Title shot next week at Derby Park Expo 5.

TOP 5 TAG TEAMS

THE GUTCHECKERS: Sam Shaw & Alex Silva

OVW SOUTHERN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS

#1) THE BEST TEAM EVER: Rudy Switchblade & "Mr. Pec-Tacular" Jessie Godderz

LAST WEEK: Rudy couldn't successfully defeat Sam Shaw in singles action at SNS. Where was Jessie?

#2) THE MASCARA MAFIA: Paredyse & Espy

LAST WEEK: Using some military intelligence of their own, Espy & Paredyse were able to outsmart and defeat the Coalition alongside Johnny Spade, Moose, & Chris Silvio at SNS.

#3) THE PLATOON OF WAYNE: Jason Wayne, Joe Coleman, & Jack Black

LAST WEEK: The P.O.W. has different combinations they can use at any time, but all 3 members couldn't call in enough troops to defeat Team OVW at SNS. 

#4) THE WILD CARDS: Shiloh Jonze & "Rudo" Raul LaMotta

LAST WEEK: Shiloh & Raul's plan to venture out on their own when they felt unappreciated has yet to work out for them.

JESSIE BELLE

OVW WOMEN'S CHAMPION

#1) TAELER HENDRIX

LAST WEEK: Taeler loved playing mind games as long as she was in control. At SNS, they were used against her and cost her the OVW Women's Title.

#2) EPIPHANY

LAST WEEK: Epiphany had an opportunity to take away the #1 contender's spot from Jessie Belle, but failed to do so.

#3) JOSETTE BYNUM

LAST WEEK: Although she wasn't an official participant, Josette got herself involved at SNS and helped Flash to defeat Trailer Park Trash.

#4) HEIDI LOVELACE

LAST WEEK: Heidi has been keeping a low-profile recently.
